one of the 2 fixing bolts supplied with the ball joint was damaged even though it was correctly packed. i think this bolt had a manufacturing defect and i replaced it with one of the old bolts, so i was able to assemble the part without any problem. It's a detail, but otherwise the ball joint is perfect.
