This OSRAM TYREseal 450 puncture repair kit will enable you to repair tires of all widths up to 21 inches diameter (R21) quickly and easily without tools or a jack, by sealing punctures of up to 6mm and then re-inflating your tire to the correct pressure using the 12V compressor supplied.
Using the latest particle gel technology, theimmediate action of thissealing product will enable you to continue your journey in complete safety at 80km/h for a maximum distance of 200 kilometers, and then go to a specialist to have the punctured tire permanently repaired (by fitting an approved "mushroom" which saves you the cost of buying a new one), or replaced depending on the degree of damage and whether the tire has been run flat.
Compared with foam-based sealants, TYREseal's specific formula has been designed for use with tire pressure monitoring systems(TPMS - tyre pressure monitoring system mandatory on new passenger cars since November 1, 2012). Thanks to the through-the-valve method, the valve's Schrader obus does not have to be removed during use. A simple rinse is all that's needed to remove the product.
It can be used to replace the repair kit with sealant supplied by your vehicle manufacturer (to be replaced every 5 years or when the expiration date is reached).
It is manufactured in compliance with the original equipment standards laid down by the vehicle manufacturers.
ATTENTION: Cannot be used to repair tire sidewall damage!
Kit includes:
- 450ml bottle of TYREseal 450 tire sealant
- 12V compressor for connection to cigarette lighter
- Storage bag with Velcro closure
- Valve adapters (for bicycles, balloons, small inflatable objects, etc.)
- Instructions for use
