This DELPHI ignition coil is compatible with all MX5 ND:
- MX5 ND ST 1.5l and 2.0l from 05/2015 until today ;
- MX5 ND RF 1.5l and 2.0l from 12/2016 to today.
The ignition coil supplies high-voltage electrical current to the spark plug to produce combustion in the cylinder.
A faulty ignition coil can lead to non-combustion of the air/fuel mixture. This manifests itself in misfiring, a rough-running engine or gaps in acceleration.
