The rubber sideboard stop for Combi pick-ups is a component used in utility vehicles such as pick-ups, notably for the sideboard system, which are the removable or fold-down sides of the body. The purpose of these rubber stops is to limit the movement of the sides (or body panels), holding them in place and reducing wear and friction-related noise.
The stop acts as a shock absorber when the sideboard comes into contact with the chassis or body wall, reducing wear on metal components and extending their service life.
Being made of rubber, it minimizes the noise of sideboards striking or clashing against the vehicle structure, particularly when driving on uneven roads or when opening and closing the body.
