XXL 40 SAE - Vintage & Classics pre-1950 + motorbikes

This vintage can is a re-edition of the CASTROL 1L oil cans of the period

The SAE 40 is a monograde oil which is more of a detergent for vintage cars,but also very effective for more sporty cars. This oil is also recommendedfor many vintage sporty motorbikes, not only as an engine oil, but also a gearbox oil.

The vintage metal can then be used as decoration inthe workshop.

I bought this oil to change the oil in an old metal lathe. These old lathes have bronze parts, and current vehicle oils contain a lot of detergents that deteriorate bronze and vintage seals. This oil seems to correspond to the standard given by the manufacturer of my lathe.
