The single row bearing of the intermediate shaft is held by a circlip while the double row bearing is not.

This bearing with 100% ceramic balls is more solid than the original one. It is more resistant to friction.

The lubricant of the bearing as well as the housing seal, offer the best quality available for this use, this in order to make your engine more reliable.

In order to facilitate the assembly of the bearing and to preserve its integrity. It is strongly recommended to cool it before, in a freezer for 2 hours and in addition, to heat (to 120 degrees) the area of the engine block which will receive the IMS.

Also, it is imperative to ensure that there is no oil in the intermediate shaft tube before installing the bearing!
Centrifugal force, combined with residual oil, causes a counterweight which will destroy the bearing prematurely
