Description Product

Details about : Shim for WEBER 40 DCOE carburetor - Bakelite 8mm

This thermal spacer for WEBER 40 DCOE carburetor - Bakelite 8mm is made by MECATECHNIC.

This spacer for the WEBER 40 DCOE carburetor is machined from an old-style laminated phenolic resin that is particularly stable to heat, cold and contact with potentially corrosive liquids and oils, and will not warp.

A thermal shim isolates the carburetor from the heat generated by the manifold. Prevents deformation of the carburettor baseplate, limits vapor lock and self-combustion and prevents fuel from "boiling" in the carburettor bowl.

Requires two shims per carburetor and 2 UC40264 O-rings per shim to fit (not supplied).
