This thermal spacer for Solex 34 and 35 carburetors - Bakelite 5mm is made by MECATECHNIC.

This spacer for Solex 34 and 35 carburetors is machined from an old-fashioned laminated phenolic resin that is particularly stable to heat, cold and contact with potentially corrosive liquids and oils, and will not warp.

A thermal shim isolates the carburetor from the heat generated by the manifold. Prevents deformation of the carburettor baseplate and limits the effects of vapor lock and self-combustion, preventing fuel from "boiling" in the carburettor bowl.

Requires two base gaskets for installation (not supplied).

Not compatible with my carburetor and the car. Drill hole not the right distance for my carb. Yet a solex 34, but PBISA 5. The ad does say Solex 34.
