MECACYL special diesel FAP cleaner is a top-of-the-range curative treatment designed to clean and decontaminate your diesel engine 's particulate filter . It catalytically eliminates all soot and calamine deposits present in the FAP.


Recent diesel engines tend toclog up during short cold runs. The FAP cannot regenerate normally, and the engine becomes dusty on acceleration and lacks power. Use this cleaner to restore the original performance of the DPFS and avoid costly replacement.


Dosage : 1 bottle of 1L effectively treats 40 to 70L of diesel.

Frequency of use: treatment to be carried out every 60000km or 40000km in the case of frequent urban journeys.


Advantages :

- Cleans and dissolves unburnt particles.

- Removes gum, varnish and scale.

- Unclogs and prolongs the life of the DPFS.

- Prevents clogging.

- Reduces pollutant emissions.


Directions for use :

- Pour the entire 1L can into the fuel tank via the filler neck.

- Run the engine at idle for 30 minutes to soak up any unburnt fuel.

- Drive 40km at high engine speed (3500 rpm maximum).

- Then drive normally until you run out of fuel.

- Refuel.

BY MECACYL 300ml diesel engine decontamination additive is a top-of-the-range treatment specially designed for roadworthiness testing , to avoid costly retesting due to a failed anti-pollution test.
It completely cleans and decontaminates theair circuit (turbo, EGR valve, FAP, catalytic converters) and the fuel circuit( combustionchambers, valves, pumps, injectors) by removing gum, varnish, scale and carbon deposits. It is particularly effective on the opening vanes of variable-geometry turbos.
As a result, it reduces pollutant emissions and restores optimal operation of the engine. What's more, its properties, derived from Mecacyl hyper-lubricant technology, enable it to lubricate and protect mechanical parts fromfouling.

Dosage : 1 bottle of 300ml for a 40 to 70L tank.
Frequency of use: every 30000km or before MOT.

- Drive for 20-30km at high engine speed (3500rpm minimum).
- Then drive normally until the fuel is completely consumed.
- Refuel before passing the technical inspection.
