For a so-called "hot" engine (example prepared engines, injection, with turbo or compressor) or with a low compression ratio, the spark plug should preferably have a "cold" index (eg WR6 .. or WR7 ..) .
For a so-called "cold" engine (generally carburettor engines) or with a high compression ratio, the spark plug should preferably have a "hot" index (eg WR8 ..).
