The two main difficulties encountered by professionals when changing an oil filter are:

access in an increasingly compact engine compartment and unscrewing filters which may be welded to the engine.

This FACOM spanner is the ideal tool for removing a metalfilterwhich has been screwed too tight with and which has vertical access(not suitable for composite filters).

This 3 claw key is used to tighten and loosen oil filters from 63 mm to 101 mm.
